Dr. Genny Ballard, Professor of Spanish and Latin American Studies, specializes in intercultural competence and contemporary Latin American cultures. She teaches language, literature, and culture and directs study abroad programs in Mexico, Colombia, Costa Rica, and Ecuador, creating immersive experiences that connect students with diverse communities and global perspectives.

Fellowship Project:  Launching the Diversity Career Connections Program to support students through mentorship, networking, and career-building opportunities, by partnering with campus offices, student organizations, and alumni.
