Betsy Davis, Director of Programs and Operations

Betsy Davis is a strategic leader in higher education with nearly 20 years of experience supporting faculty, building cross-sector partnerships, and advancing student-centered innovation. She currently serves as Director of Programs and Operations at ACS, where she leads collaborative initiatives that connect member institutions and strengthen academic programs across the consortium.

Prior to ACS, Betsy held leadership roles at both public and private universities and served as Chief of Staff for the University Innovation Alliance, a national alliance focused on student success and institutional transformation. Her career has centered on developing high-impact programs, managing grant-funded initiatives, and facilitating partnerships that help ideas move from vision to implementation.

At ACS, she is especially energized by supporting faculty as they explore new dimensions of leadership through the Fellows Program, preparing for the next chapter of their professional journeys. She is known for her collaborative and creative approach, and for bringing people together to address complex challenges and spark meaningful change.

Betsy holds a B.A. in Communication and History from Boston College and a M.S.Ed. in Higher Education from the University of Pennsylvania. She is currently pursuing an Ed.D. in Educational Program Development with a concentration in Educational Innovation at the University of South Florida.
