The Behavioral and Social Sciences Research and Teaching Swap Site is designed to encourage cross-institutional teaching and research collaborations amongst the Associated Colleges of the South. Many of us have various teaching and research resources and expertise that may quite efficiently be shared to facilitate our objectives inside the classroom and lab.
The BSS Research and Teaching Swap is an online platform where faculty and staff may post brief descriptions of available resources they have to share (“Haves”) or resources they need to have shared with them (“Needs”).
Example resources that may be shared are access to research participants, specific equipment, teaching or research expertise, or the development of a collaborative CURE (Course-based Undergraduate Research Experiences) course. The goal is for the Haves and Needs to be matched up to maximize efficiency of resources and to nurture collaborations in teaching and scholarship.
When filling the form below, please note the following definitions:
A “Have” refers to any resource you have available to share. These may include anything from access to participants, help running a study, programs, data sets, teaching expertise, research expertise, equipment, etc.
A “Need” refers to any of the above for which you have a need to facilitate your objectives.
