The survey will take approximately 5 minutes to complete. Thank you for your interest in the Women’s Leadership Institute (WLI), which is offered in support of the Associated Colleges of the South’s Initiative on Diversity and Inclusion and is generously funded by the Mellon Foundation. WLI is a summer professional development series and is able to enroll up to sixteen participants. Participants will receive a $500.00 stipend plus free professional development materials.
Through virtual workshops, breakout sessions, and candid discussions—guided by recognized leaders in the field—participants will examine common challenges and barriers for women leaders and discover shared solutions for making our institutions more equitable. The Institute invites participation from faculty and administrative staff from ACS institutions who are looking to develop their own leadership style, overcome barriers to advancement, or to explore new professional opportunities. Over the course of five virtual sessions, participants will assess their strengths, learn about the skills and relationships needed to lead in a complex and demanding higher education landscape, and build their networks across ACS schools.
